More than

In the Financial Industry

Over his career Dave has worked closely with IT teams in the development of technology solutions for financial advice, founding Forma Financial Planning to combine his experience with his passion for helping people; personally helping people make financial plans that align perfectly with their needs.

Does Virtual Financial Planning mean I’ll be dealing with ‘Robo-Answers’?

No, it’s just as human as an in-person meeting; only instead of having a physical office building, all of our meetings are held using Zoom. Our founder, the Texas Financial Planner Dave Bartoski, CFP® still conducts all client meetings, answering questions and providing personal advice. This is not a ‘Robo-Advisor’, where a computer is behind the scenes and no human interaction is involved.

We have an intentional focus on keeping our practice small, so that we can provide all clients with an exceptionally personalized level of service.

Why do financial planning online?

The number one reason we choose to work this way is that we appreciate how busy life can be. Your time is valuable and by working with us through Zoom, we can connect when it fits your schedule – even over a thirty-minute lunch break. This gives us the flexibility to meet when spouses or family members aren’t in the same location; whether it’s because of travel or conflicting work schedules. Without having to coordinate travel to an office, this puts time back in your day to focus on the things that are important to you.

An additional benefit is that by not having the overhead that comes with a physical office location, we can keep our fees highly competitive and continue to focus on providing the best service possible.

Is virtual financial planning for everyone?

No, it isn’t. Meeting virtually isn’t quite the same to some, and maybe it’s not for you. I have clients who prefer to use the phone to appearing on video. But you needn’t fear complications, we’ve invested in industry-leading technology to ensure we have the simplest and best tools available, and part of meeting is getting comfortable with the technology. Combining these resources with over twenty years of experience gives us a unique advantage over your typical office-based financial planning firm.
