Our Fee Schedule
The fee is based on a percentage of assets under management. The annualized fees for investment management services are based on the following fee schedule:
| Assets Under Management | Annual Advisory Fee |
| $0 – $1,000,000 | 1.00% |
| $1,000,001 – $3,000,000 | 0.85% |
| $3,000,001 – $5,000,000 | 0.65% |
| $5,000,001 and Above | 0.50% |
The annual advisory fee is paid quarterly in arrears based on the average daily balance of the Client’s account(s). The advisory fee is a blended tier. For example, for assets under management of $2,000,000, a Client would pay 1.00% on the first $1,000,000 and 0.85% on the remaining balance. The quarterly fee is determined by the following calculation: (($1,000,000 x 1.00%) + ($1,000,000 x 0.85%)) ÷ 4 = $4,625.
In determining the advisory fee, we may allow accounts of members of the same household to be aggregated. FFP relies on the valuation as provided by Client’s custodian in determining assets under management. Our advisory fee is prorated for any partial billing periods occurring during the engagement, including the initial and terminating billing periods.

Common Questions
Where are my assets held?
Forma Financial Planning has selected Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. as primary custodian for our client’s accounts.
How do you get compensated?
We are a fee-only (commission-free) financial planning firm. This means the only compensation we receive comes directly from families we serve. We believe this is the fairest and most transparent way to provide financial advice as it ensures our interests are always aligned with yours. Since we’re not tied to any proprietary products, we can act as true advocates to identify the most cost-effective and appropriate solutions to meet your goals. Before committing to an engagement, our clients know exactly what they’ll pay for the advice they receive.
Are you a fiduciary and what does that mean to me?
Yes, Forma Financial Planning provides advice as a fiduciary. A fiduciary has the highest ethical obligation to always put your interests first. Many financial professionals are not held to this standard and only required that their recommendations are “suitable”. The suitability standard can sometimes result in conflicts of interest, and Advisors selling products to generate a higher commission. We believe the fiduciary standard is the best way to serve our clients.
How will my data be protected in the online planning process?
We partner with Right Capital’s technology to provide financial planning. They have implemented security controls to protect your information, which can be found here.
Do you have investment minimums?
Our minimum account size requirement is $500,000 per household to open or maintain an account under our management. FFP may reduce or waive the minimum account size requirement on a case-by-case basis.
Is there a fee for the initial meeting?
The initial meeting is complementary and is used for us to get acquainted.
